Madeline Janssen is a documentary and film photographer drawn to quiet, ordinary moments that reveal the depth of our relationships and the places we inhabit. Their work often centers on family, water, light, and the small details of everyday life.
They choose to work only with film because its limitations ask them to slow down and be intentional. In many ways, their photographs become a visual diary, a record of what their life looked like and what they noticed while they were living it.
