Kate Sweeney is a self-taught photographer from Columbus, Ohio, whose work explores memory, identity, and freedom. Rooted in feeling, her photographs center the human body and its connection to nature.

Sweeney approaches image-making as a collaborative exchange built on trust, play, and vulnerability. Her photographs are intimate and expressive, celebrating the magic of being alive.

She has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions and has been featured in photobooks, publications, interviews, and artist talks.
