Oregon photographer Bang Nguyen lives out his childhood dream of wildlife photography, meeting a wild bird face to face above a misty river valley.

“Growing up I always imagined becoming a wildlife photographer. Being able to hike to some of these amazing locations, capturing stunning photos of the animals that inhabit the area. It truly is one of the most rewarding feelings, especially after a long hike.”

Bang Nguyen has been taking photos for over 10 years, exploring various types of photography. He tends to gravitate toward photos that introduce a story element, whether that's interesting people, landscapes, or exploring a new city.

For Nguyen, there's always a story to be told, and he loves being able to capture it through photography or filmmaking. Every photo he takes is for the younger version of himself, the kid who first fell in love with the idea of capturing the world through his lens.
