Wyoming photographer Tony Cross shares the road with some of his oldest neighbors, reminding us that the natural world moves at its own pace.

“Since moving to Wyoming 13 years ago, I’ve come to think of the local wild animals as part of my community; actually, it’s more like I’m a part of theirs. Bison are incredibly intelligent and they’re good neighbors.”

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Tony is a lifelong musician, photographer, and sometimes writer. He's played music in symphony halls, dive bars, and forests; his writing has been read in a performance at Royal Albert Hall; and since a young age, photography has been a daily way for him to engage with and try to understand the world.
Tony grew up in the film era and still prefers 35mm over all other formats. The Contax G1 is his desert island camera. He lives in Kelly, Wyoming.
