My story with VSCO begins 10 years ago when one of my images was featured on the VSCO feed. This was a dream. VSCO helped me actualize a dream.

Across a 20-year career, Best-Selling Author Liza Gersman emphasizes that success in photography is built slowly through consistency, adaptability, and patience rather than sudden breakthroughs.

Liza Gersman offers a grounded perspective on what it takes to build a lasting photography careerโ€”she is quick to dismantle the myth of instant arrival.

By becoming a generalist who specializes deeply when needed, Liza is proof that professional photography careers evolve through refining skill, seeking honest feedback, and nurturing professional relationships. Ultimately, the goal is not fame, but respect.

As a lifelong photographer, thereโ€™s no golden ticket...a career is twenty years of still being able to pick up a camera and have people look at your imagery with a critical eye and maybe give you a paycheck.
