“On March 25, 2026, exactly six months after my father's passing, my mother sits amid hundreds of his handwritten post-it notes and armfuls of yellow daisies, the same flowers he gave her every anniversary since their first date. Each note is a small piece of him, gathered together for the first time since he died.”
